The District Department of Transportation put out a press release at the end of the day Friday alerting the public to parking restrictions and street closures around the Hay-Adams Hotel, which is where the Obama family will be living beginning this weekend until January 15. The restrictions go into effect overnight tonight, so it's safe to assume the Obamas will arrive sometime early tomorrow morning.
The following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic and parking will be restricted from 1 a.m. on Sunday, January 4 until midnight on January 15:
16th Street NW between I and H Streets.
Connecticut Avenue NW between I and H Streets.
