Was Teresa Obert Paid By ESPN For Hope Solo Interview?

Did ESPN Pay Teresa Obert Hope Solo's Half Sister For Domestic Violence Interview? ESPN's Mark Fainaru-Wada did a really good job of laying out the story of the fight between Hope Solo and her half sister Teresa Obert - and which led to domestic violence charges filed against Solo - from Ms Obert's point of view. It was painful to watch and to listen to because it reveals a family that has a toxic relationship. But two questions came to my mind: first, did anyone at or associated with ESPN pay Teresa Obert to give the interview? Second, how did ESPN come to get the interview? Up to 2011 ABC, which owns ESPN, did pay licensing fees for interviews. This was stopped in 2011, when ABC News President Ben Sherwood put the stop to that. But Sherwood is gone as of last year. So the question remains: did ESPN or anyone or group associated with it pay Teresa Obert to be interviewed? It's common practice to do that. MSNBC paid me for being interviewed by Caught On Camera in 2011. What about this case?
